Ice? No dice!

We ran out of ice yesterday in the freezer. It was hot, and we only had warm soda. All I wanted was a cold frosty beverage, and yet, there was none to be found.

Reaching the end of my rope, I asked Andrew if he knew of any ice that might perhaps be stashed away somewhere. He fearfully peaked into the freezer, knowing full well there was none in there, but hoping some might miraculously spawn to save him my wrath.

He shuffled the bags and containers around frantically. I have included an illustration below and a transcript of the events that took place.

Andrew: "Um...yea...there's....no ice in here."

Me: "JUST BRING ME SOME DAMN FROZEN CHICKEN NUGGETS THEN. I WILL JUST FLOAT A FEW OF THOSE IN MY DRINK".

Miraculously, later that afternoon, there were four full ice cube trays in the freezer. Ahhhh. :)

  1. Hummmm...I wonder who he learned that empty ice tray trick from? I wonder if it was from the same person who leaves empty trays on my counter? Or from the one who takes all but one ice cube from the tray and then puts it back in the freezer? Or the person who would rather buy a bag of ice instead of filling a few ice trays? Unfortunately for "this person" I don't mind warm drinks so I am not inclined to fill those empty trays on the counter.

  2. Hahaha well, I can't totally blame him. I am really bad about filling them too. I don't think he uses ice that often. :)
