You're So Vain...You Probably Think This Post Is About You

Welcome to the show....It's been a while and I think this is the perfect time for one of my famous rants...

Think about all your friends. Theres school friends, work friends, best friends, life-long friends, friends you can depend on in a bind, friends that make you laugh to cheer you up, and friends who lend you a shoulder to cry on, or act as a sounding board when things get rough.

You Are The Wind Beneath My Contempt

I am a girl who enjoys dying my hair. No crazy colors for me, Corporate America, but I vary greatly in shades of browns, auburns, reds and dark blonde. My natural hair color is a deep gray-brown almost black. I decided that  I want to lighten it for the summer, and so i picked a medium brown shade with blonde highlights.

This Girl's Got Game...

As a member of the female population of this fair planet, I am part of a slight minority of the world's population. Enter in the fact that I am a female who enjoys video games, and that minority figure becomes a whole lot bigger.

That's One Ugly Bunny

I love Easter. I love that it brings in the first COLOR of the season. Finally after all the winter blues and blahs we have pretty pastels, that signal the impending sunshine. As a result, I have slowly but surely taken over the Easter preparations.  This year marks the first year Andrew and I are hosting a holiday together. While I don't think he's quite as excited as I am, I know he'll enjoy the plethora of goodies that will be had. This year I decided we should do an Easter Brunch, including Egg and Sausage Casserole, Ham, Belgian Waffles, Deviled Eggs, Scalloped Potatoes, Fruit Pizza and Lemon Layer Cake for dessert. All made from scratch (do I have some kind of death wish? ) and washed down with a White Wine Sangria.
We are going to have a full house (I believe theres going to be 10-11 of us!) for the first time. Though time with that much family can always be...well...interesting...it should also be a good time. I hope.

Though most of my posts tend to be on a lighter subject matter, I recently read a post on Single Dad Laughing that was absolutely one of the best things I have ever read, and I decided I had to share it.
